“Nosedive” is the first episode of the third season of “Black Mirror,” released on October 21, 2016.

The episode follows Lacie Pound, played by Bryce Dallas Howard, who lives in a society where individuals can rate each other on a scale of one to five stars after every interaction. These ratings significantly impact their social status, job opportunities, and access to various privileges.

As can be guessed from the title, things go wrong. When her flight is cancelled a series of unfortunate events leads to a slump in ratings.
