AI Music ?
I just noticed that (LUX) has returned to Bandcamp. Several weeks ago, all the albums just disappeared. But they were still on Tidal.
On January 13, 2026, Bandcamp announced that any music or audio created “wholly or in substantial part by AI” is prohibited on its platform, marking the first major music distribution service to implement such a policy. The ban also extends to AI deepfakes or tools used to mimic other artists’ voices or styles, aligning with existing rules against impersonation and intellectual property infringement.
I can only conclude that the artist was accused of using AI, but persuaded Bandcamp they didn’t.
HOWEVER
AST REC, had these albums (and others) disappear from Bandcamp:

But now they are back, with four new albums from Jan 20 2026.
and all the back-catalogue gone. I can only conclude that the earlier

Founded by Ola Strandberg in 2007. These guitars are known for their ergonomic characteristics.
The headless design makes a more balanced instrument. The two scoops on the downside make it easy to rest the guitar on the upper leg, either in a horizontal alignment or at an angle.
And at only 42mm deep, the instrument can be kept close to the body, as explained by Tim Pierce.
But my issue is that this could have been a good opportunity to make a symmetrical guitar that could be strung for left or right-handed players.
Ted McCarthy
Theodore McCarty (October 10, 1909 – April 1, 2001) was an American businessman who worked with the Wurlitzer Company and the Gibson Guitar Corporation. In 1966, he and Gibson Vice President John Huis bought the Bigsby Electric Guitar Company. At Gibson he was involved in many guitar innovations and designs between 1950 and 1966.
This documentary was initiated by a Mary Spender video mentioning the man.
After retiring, he passed all his knowledge on guitar making to Paul Reed Smith of PRS Guitars,
Sung Blue
Song Sung Blue is a 2025 American biographical musical drama film written, co-produced, and directed by Craig Brewer. It is based on the 2008 documentary film of the same name by Greg Kohs. The film stars Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson as Mike and Claire Sardina, who performed as the Neil Diamond tribute band Lightning & Thunder.
The film starts off well, with lots of Neil Diamond songs and a general positive tone as the duo get better. Then at the half-way point things take a dark turn. It’s a while before it picks up with some concert performances. Jackman seems too old for the role, but he can sing. And Kate Hudson does a good job. Recommended for fans, just skip the middle section.
