The seventh and final season of The Dragon Prince is titled Book 7: Dark and premiered on Netflix on December 19, 2024.

Aaravos is released from his magical prison and teams up with Claudia to seek revenge for their loved ones, causing chaos in Xadia.

The final series feels like a rush to the end. There is plenty of action and spectacle. But not remembering all the previous story, it lacked the weight it should have had.

It really needs a re-watch; all seven seasons viewed as one story.
