Everyone is back together after the writers strike. And Burnham is just as annoying as before.

This time it’s off to find an 800 year old abandoned Rumulan Spacecraft. But someone is there first. They have the muffin, so it’s up to the crew to get it back. Burnham could have just shot them when they met and avoided forty minutes of CGI chase scenes. But no, to advance the story the bad guys had to escape and be on their way at the end of the episode.

Fortunately an android has scanned the MacBook and they can work out what the plot to the series will be.

It’s all about finding the secret to a race of beings that created humanoid life (but who created them). So now the writers abandon evolutionary science and send everyone on a hunt for a myth.
