Why had I not heard of this before. I did have a similar device decades ago, but it probably got thrown out. I definitely don’t recall it working like this.

It certainly produces a nicer brew than a drip machine. Plus my 3 cup model takes up a lot less space. Along with the grinder in sits in the corner of a shelf. And at $25 it’s a lot cheaper than expresso machines.
