The New Kobo Libra 2

Comparing the Old (2020) Kobo Libra to the new Libra 2.

While they look the same size, the new model is slightly taller. This means it won’t fit the cover for the old version. It’s slightly heavier (326g vs 304g)

The new one has USB-C, helping to reduce the proliferation of charging cables. It also has ‘Dark Mode’, something I am keen to try.

It does seem a bit quicker at page turns and starting up.

Memory has gone from 8g to 32g. This does now have Bluetooth and the ability to play audio.

Both the new and old have the same Software version.
